The Festivalito is a ludic Summer Film Festival.
La Palma is a mix of volcanoes, tropical jungles, beaches, cliffs, springs and deserts. There is a surprise after every footstep and a matchless landscape around every corner. It is an enchanted spectacle, declared by UNESCO as the WORLD RESERVE OF THE BIOSPHERE, that the Festivalito invites their guests to discover every summer.
During the big week of the Festivalito, the different activities carried out are fundamental elements that contribute to the creation of a suitable environment.
La Palma converts itself into the island of cinema, with films, screenings and activities carried out simultaneously in almost all of the towns.

The coexistence that is generated during the week of the Festivalito and the special atmosphere of La Palma converts this competition into a unique festival in the world and a vital experience. Maybe for this reason no one wants to abandon the island once the festival is over.
The people invited to the Festivalito enjoy, during their stay, guided excursions to the most varied spots on the island of La Palma, with the aim of finding spots for their filmings, and get to know and get accustomed to the way of life in the area.
In the same way, the inhabitants of every town will have the opportunity to personally meet the invited artists.

Even though the main body of the film screenings are done in the cinemas, cultural centres and squares of different municipalities of the island, in the epigraph spectacular screenings on beaches and volcanoes on the island and music concerts are included as well as more surprises that will be revealed as we approach the big week.

Every day press conferences and working sessions will be held to present the films and the invited guests.
